Call Us Bi Our Name (CUBIN Malta) is an anti-erasure page, and we are determined to increase visibility and awareness for issues which often do not receive the attention they deserve in Malta. Erasure, in the context of LGBT+ issues, is a term used to describe the act of discrediting, invalidating or otherwise negating the existence of bi+ individuals - whether through active suppression or through passivity and omission.

Bi+ here refers not only to people who identify as bisexual and/or biromantic, but also to all other non-binary sexualities denoting attraction to more than one gender and are therefore neither exclusively gay nor exclusively straight. Together, these non-monosexual identities are often referred to as the “multiple attraction spectrum” in bi+ circles, or "m-spec" for short. The mspec community includes but is not limited to bi, pansexual, ply, omni, abro, fluid, hetero/homoflexible, and queer.

Our blog, 'Panorama' is meant to be a platform for bi+/mspec individuals on the Maltese islands to find reliable resources and hopefully contribute with their own writing, hence uniting the Maltese bi+/mspec community in a tangible way.
